Where To? The Weekender
December 2, 2016
Our new Where To? video series is a collaboration with Sam Pike, a Denver-based filmmaker and storyteller, former Winter Session wallet-stitcher, and studio mate in our new warehouse space.
Each video offers a snapshot of our bags in action (from their production in our workshop on the north side of Denver to their adventures out in the world) and features different members of the creative community in Denver doing their thing. Our first video follows our new Weekender Bag — from the sewing table out into the city — as well as the making of the Waves Japan issue.
ABOUT THE WEEKENDER: The versatile Weekender Bag is designed to carry several days’ worth of clothing and accessories while keeping everything organized and accessible. Constructed from start to finish in our workshop from heavyweight waxed canvas and vegetable tanned leather (and reinforced with a full grain leather bottom panel), the Weekender offers a generous carrying capacity while still being compact enough to pass as a carry-on. The Weekender is available in four colorways on our site HERE.
ABOUT WAVES: Waves is a Denver-based travel zine created by husband and wife/dynamic duo Jon Hartman and Liz Henderson. Each zine is part travel log, part guide, and a window into the weird, inspiring, and stirring otherworldliness that is our planet. Current issues include Japan and Iceland with Northern Europe and Cuba coming soon. Get more info on the project HERE.

WS in the Wild: The Mountains are Calling
July 21, 2015
WS co-owner Roy Katz hand stitching at 9,000 feet at our favorite spot: the top of Independence Pass in the Sawatch Range.
Headed into the Pine Cove Woods, fully equipped with the two-tone Day Pack.
We’d like to leave you with the wise words of Thoreau:
“We need the tonic of wildness… At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild… We can never have enough of nature.”
Now, get outside — and share your adventures with us!

WS in the Wild: Garrison goes to Seattle
May 19, 2015
In our home of grassy plains and sandy desert and Rocky Mountains, we don’t often get to see our designs surrounded by truly lush nature. Luckily, the incredibly talented photographer (and our new friend) Eric Bowley took his Garrison bag, Roll-up and Zip Bag on a little Pacific Northwest adventure and shared his day with us — the best part? He took his dachshunds along! Follow their explorations on Eric’s site.
